- The required payment gateway was not natively supported by the selected eCommerce extension, requiring a fully custom integration
- Ensuring secure handling of payment data, including proper validation, encryption, and transaction flow management
- Managing communication between the eCommerce system and payment gateway APIs, including success, failure, and callback responses
- Maintaining a smooth and uninterrupted checkout experience without adding complexity for users
- Handling edge cases such as failed transactions, duplicate payments, and callback validation
- Ensuring compatibility of the payment solution with order management and backend processing workflows
